You can get to Salou in AVE by the lines that come directly from Madrid, Figueres, Irun, Seville, Valladolid and Barcelona and that arrive in AVE Station Camp de Tarragona.
How to go from the railway station to Salou?
Note that the AVE Camp de Tarragona is located between the towns of Perafort and The Secuita, a few kilometers from Tarragona, Reus, Salou and PortAventura and therefore once in the railway station in Tarragona you must move to you final destination. In most instances, this will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Thus, once at the railway station in Tarragona, you can opt for a rental car, a taxi or a shuttle bus to get to your destination in Salou or the Costa Dorada.
To travel by private car or rental car from the railway station of Tarragona to Salou you must take the road which links the station to the N-240, which you will have to follow direction Tarragona to find the AP-7, and connect with the C-14 to Salou. The journey takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
If you choose to make the transfer by bus from the city railway station in Tarragona and Salou or to any other destination on the Costa Dorada, note that the bus service is not coordinated with the time of arrival or departure of trains.
The first transfer or day service between the railway station and Camp de Tarragona Tarragona starts at 6'20 am. The journey lasts between 20 and 25 minutes, approximately.

Another possibility is to take the taxi, with an approximate cost of about 25 euros, but the best option is to agree the fare beforehand.
