Monuments and cellars in Terra Alta

The tour visits places of historic interest and three villages in the region: battery, Pinell de Brai and the capital, Gandesa. They are especially remarkable historic centers of these three populations, especially the walled town of batteries, and modernist cellars Gandesa and Pinell de Brai, both designed by Cesar Martinell. The route starts batting. To get there from Waldo, take the N-420 O and breaks toward the right (NOT) the C-221 (12 km). The village is situated on a hilltop and has a beautiful old town. Must see to it the church of San Lorenzo and the magnificent Art Nouveau building of the Agricultural Cooperative, known as the Cathedral of Wine (also was designed by Cesar Martinell).
