ArtTherapy, jewelry or art photography in the new edition of the summer courses at the School of Art

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 29th May 2012. This month of June begins the second edition of the summer courses organized by the School of Art and Design Council of Tarragona. The application of art therapy in different areas of emotional and artistic growth, production and preparation of portraits of models, or the creation of characters through the illustrations are just some of the proposals offered by the school year, during the months of June and July to give a total of 12 courses of 15 to 32 hours. The training was presented today in Tarragona Province the vice president of this institution, Albert Vallvé, and the director of the School of Art and Design, Amparo Escobar, accompanied by the coordinator of activities of the center, Marcel Blázquez. As Escobar said Amparo, this initiative "is a response to certain demands and concerns of the students and alumni regarding the specific additional training and linked to the academic and the professional." Moreover, he added that "since we believe that school is a good time, before it reaches the middle of the summer season, to a semicolon in the center's activities without losing the entire contact with specialized training in plastic arts and design. " Both the director of the center as the Coordinator for the School, Marcel Blázquez, have detailed these courses (aimed at students, alumni, professionals and artists), will give the "first professional level," and will take out in small groups of 15 persons, "to promote direct contact with faculty." They also highlighted the interest of all disciplines, focusing specially on the course of art therapy as "not only for students and professionals in the field of art, but also focuses on personal educational, medical and therapeutic, and researchers in the expression, creation and communication. In turn, the vice president of the Council, Albert Vallvé, stressed the importance of these courses, and teaching all that together, carried out by the School of Art and Design Council of Tarragona. He also recalled the great success he had last year the first edition of the summer courses (attended by about 180 students), an initiative this year, offers a wide range of students range of workshops and activities, ranging from jewelery to artistic enlightenment, through the website layout, art therapy or fashion photography, among many other disciplines.
