Cambrils inaugurates the exhibition "Joan Miró. Graphic Work"



Cambrils. Costa Dorada. On Friday, January 21, at 20 hours, inaugurated the exhibition "Miró. Prints "at the Agora Room (Plaza del Ayuntamiento, 4)  The exhibition "Miró. Prints, built in the area of Cultures: Art and Thought of Social Work Caja Mediterráneo (CAM), allows the viewer to delve into a piece full of vigor and suggestions one of the greatest Catalan artists with universal screening. Miro, since the forties chose a site next to the Mediterranean to settle, he radiated optimism in his work life and fantasies about plastic. However, this production CAM places the public in the life of this great creator plastic example of Mediterranean culture. Indeed, one of the objectives of the Social Work area where part of this exhibition is to show exhibitions of art from the Mediterranean and disseminating its rich heritage. The collection consists mainly of three sets of graphic works of distinguished artist In the first, ADONIDES, created in 1975, the etchings by Joan Miró transformed the space into a stage plan of signs, calligraphy and ideograms: woman, star, sun, moon, bird ... These mythologies together transformed the French poems of Jacques Prévert who participated in the surrealist movement, with a particular taste for the paradoxical elegant ramblings of great lyricism. The second work, the lizard OF THE GOLDEN FEATHER, created in 1971, has the particularity to be full of the artist, both text and lithographs. It is a surrealist poem in which words and images drawn with a dreamlike vision. The third and final, passage from the Egyptian MINUTES JOINT created and held in Palma de Mallorca in 1979, consists of thirteen etchings, from which the poet and novelist André Pieyre of Mandiargues wrote two poems at different times . The first passage in the Egyptian, describes a game of words Baroque Mara intercourse between Egypt and the ferryman who transports the other side of the river in a natural setting filled with images ranging between fantasy and reality.
