Esteve Coll exhibits his Christmas dioramas at the Torre Vella of Salou
Salou. Costa Dorada. 25 December 2017. The Town Hall of Salou programmed in its cultural agenda a unique nativity formed by dioramas by Esteve Coll, which are exhibited in the Torre Vella. The exhibition will be open until January 13 and is composed by seven creations of the Catalan author. The dioramas reflect traditional Christmas scenes, which he has made over 20 years.
Esteve Coll is one of the great masters of the nativity scene, recognized by the Generalitat as Mestre Artesà. Among the works displayed, we can find the Visit to Santa Isabel (2005) or the traditional Adoration of the Kings (2004). His vision of how to capture a landscape taking into account aspects such as perspective, light and colour, created admirable results.
The exhibition can be visited until January 13 from 6 to 8 pm, Monday through Saturday. Holidays and Sundays will be closed. The Department of Culture intends to continue with the tradition that fills the Torre Vella de Salou every year for Christmas.
