The exhibition ,Spectacular Spaces, travels to Montblanc
Montblanc. Costa Dorada. Through music and photography, fifteen artists reinterpret September monuments of architectural heritage from the past to the future, have been the scene of culture and show The Library and Conangla Fontanilles host the show from 13 to 29 May in 2011 From Friday 13 May 2011, the exhibition "Space Spectacular", will visit the Library and Conangla Fontanilles Montblanc (c. Vine, s / n), where they will remain open until May 29 . This exhibition, produced in 2010 by the Cultural Services of the Government in Tarragona, combines music, photography and heritage, and is the result of the union between architecture and sensitivities of six photographers and seven different bands, which have artistically reinterpreted several heritage sites in Tarragona. The gaze of the creators offer a new interpretation of part of the territory's most important architectural heritage and rediscover the history of mass entertainment from ancient Rome, through medieval theater performances and popular street, to future architectural constructions that give rise to cultural facilities as necessary for the continuity of culture, performing arts and ultimately the show. The Roman Circus of Tarragona, the church of St. Francis de Montblanc Square Wheat Valls, Reus Joint Theater, Theatre de la Vilella Baixa, the Auditorium Theatre Auditorium Vendrell and Cambrils are reinterpreted spaces by artists of the territory with a clear implication in the Tarragona region. The Services of Culture organized the exhibition with the collaboration of the AMT (Association of Musicians of Tarragona), which is responsible for promoting the musical side of the exhibition. The selection of the photographers participating in the exhibition was made through a call under the Creative Project Territories (http://www.territoriscreatius.cat), an initiative to disseminate and promote internationally the work of creators the Tarragona region in various fields of art.
