Tarragona collaborates with coastal municipalities to ensure safety on the beaches

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 26th July 2012. Tarragona Province, through the Environment Unit, Public Health and Planning, collaborating economically with the coastal towns of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre to ensure services Lifeguard, also contribute to the costs in material and infrastructure for the proper functioning of the beaches. In particular, the institution allocates a total of 241,529.51 euros from 17 municipalities. The coastal province of Tarragona has a wide coastal strip where there is most of the population. This population is increased during the summer months because it has areas of high interest rates. The coastal towns have this resource but also have the obligation to provide monitoring services and first aid, maintenance of facilities, among others.
