Tarragona rehabilitates the ermit of Sant Magi

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 29th June 2012. The popularly known as the Hermit house of the church of Sant Magi, one of the buildings historical and religious landmarks of Tarragona, recover its glory with the help of Tarragona Province. The plenary of the institution approved this Friday financing part of the comprehensive refurbishment of the property, located in the upper part of the city. Specifically, it will provide 30,000 euros per year for three years. The House of the Hermit is the rectory of the church, and is the headquarters of the Brotherhood of St Magi, co-skipper of Tarragona. Also houses the bearing section of the Water and its neighbors is collaborating parties in the city each year dedicated to the saint. The chairman of the council, Josep Poblet, visited the building several months ago to learn the details of the remodeling project. This provides the rectory converted into a space suitable to the needs of the organization and its desire to promote disclosure regarding Sant Magi.
