Torredembarra rewards its artists on the night of culture
Torredembarra. Costa Dorada. This Friday were announced the winners of the Awards XI of Vila Torredembarra Night of Culture. The ceremony took place during a dinner held from 21 pm in the Great Hall of the House Municipal. The president of the Municipal Culture, Rosa M. Guasch, explained that the board of trustees also unanimously has decided to award individuals or groups who have stood to help with their co-operation in the promotion of culture of the Vila Torredembarra. Among the most significant prizes are troban press award Mañé Flaquer and the prize at Best Practices for Sustainability, but also to research in the arts. Torredembarra also awarded the best in photography, drama, fiction, poetry and painting. The awards are sponsored by various institutions of the city also donate a cash prize. Among the winners is Sagarra Rafael Hernandez for his career as councilman of Culture between 1991 and 1995, which created the Municipal Culture and as regards the recognition of people, collectives, organizations or institutions of the cultural related to Euskera in the Basque writer Kirmen Uribe. Born in 1970 in Ondarroa has published both poetry and literature for children and young getting the Critics Prize in Euskera and in 2003 National Award for Fiction in 2009. Also known for his multimedia productions which combines poetry, music, narration, video, touring in shows.
