Calafell beach added to the select list of beaches 'blue'
All blue flags on the beaches of the Costa Dorada and the Ebro Delta
Nearly forty beaches in the province of Tarragona validate this award
The beaches of the Costa Daurada and Delta again stand out from the beaches around the country, beaches that have achieved up to this summer 38 blue flags. All beaches have revalidated recognition with the addition of Calafell beach, which adds for the first time in this exclusive list. The Blue Flag is an award given by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEC), which certifies that the beaches beyond examinations of hygiene, safety, open access, in compliance with current regulations and to care for people with disabilities. In addition, the vast majority of beaches along the Catalan coast have received a rating of excellent by the Catalan Water prerequisite for coastal councils can apply for Blue Flag bid.

- Tarragona: La Mora, Arrabassada, Savinosa and Tamarit.
- Vilaseca: La Pineda.
- Salou: Llevant and Capellans.
- Cambrils: Cavet Prat del Forès.
- Mont-Roig del Camp: Cristall and Pixerota.
- Vandellos and Hospitalet de l'Infant: Punta del Riu, Arenal and Torn.
Blue Flag beaches of Terres de l'Ebre:
- Ametlla de Mar: Sant Jordi d'Alfama, Cala Forn, Pixavaques, Alguer and Calafató.
- Deltebre: Riumar.
- L'Ampolla: Cap Roig and Avellaners.
- Sant Carles de la Rapita: SW Park beaches and the Delights
- Alcanar: Cases d'Alcanar-El Marjal.
