The Government celebrates International Women's Day in Terres de l'Ebre

Terres de l'Ebre. Regional Director of Social Welfare and Family Manolita Cid, mayor of Tortosa, Ferran Bel, presided over the ceremony commemorating the International Day of institutional Women. Manolita Cid has excelled in presenting a double celebration this 2011 "on one hand, the celebration of this day, we do annually, but also the other 100 years that women claim their rights, a task that has borne fruit, but unfortunately that must continue because we still have much work to do. " During the event, jointly organized by the Generalitat of Catalonia and Tortosa, the phylosophy professor and member of Women in Hospitalet de Llobregat, Concha Llinàs, described in his lecture to celebrate 100 years of history International Day of Women. The government also organizes events to celebrate International Women's Day in Barcelona and Lleida, the same 8 March, while it held tomorrow Girona and Tarragona 9 March Thursday 10 March.
