Salou's City Council approves works to reduce barriers




Salou. Costa Dorada. The City Council has approved the second phase of the project works of the ordinary municipal accessibility plan consisting of the construction of a total of 176 driveways in the streets of the city to facilitate accessibility to Disabled. Fords 176 total distributed in three different areas: Zone 1: Paseo Miramar, c / del Sol, Plaza Father Muntanyola c / Valencia which will create a total of 75, the area formed by two c / Carles Roig, c / Guillem de Montcada, c / Via Aurelia and Cambrils streets ranging from C / Ciudad de Reus c / Barcelona where he created a total of 68 with three driveways and the area between the street via Roma, Via Aurelia and Camino Real, C / Berenguer de Palou and perpendicular to the road where a total of Augusta Crossings will create 33 more.   This project will consist of the demolition of certain parts of the pavement, construction of driveways and sidewalks adaptation, signaling and actions in order to adapt the furniture. Currently, the City of Salou is acting in the streets, parks and other public spaces in the town in order to adapt the use of these facilities for people with reduced mobility. In this sense, all new urban development that derive from the different development projects presented the City Council, to be accepted and approved shall at all times ensure the accessibility and use of public spaces in general fulfilling the basic criteria for the removal of architectural barriers.
