A total of 57 wineries in the appellations of origin Catalonia, Conca de Barbera, Montsant, Priorat, Tarragona and Terra Alta will attend the first show “Reus Viu el Vi” organize Reus Chamber of Commerce and City Hall on 12 and June 13. It also represented the School of Enology of Falset IES Priorat and the Faculty of Oenology, University Rovira i Virgili, the two schools working in Tarragona wine. The fair will be opened by president of Freixenet and Feria de Barcelona, Josep Lluís Bonet, has several events that take place in different parts of the city.
The first edition of the fair and Viu Reus VI, which will be held at Plaça Llibertat, will have 61 stands that will host 57 wineries in the Tarragona area, the six denominations of origin (DO)of Costa Dorada and Terres de l'Ebre, Private Foundation Castell del Vi Falset, the two schools of the area wineries, the information space of the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Reus, and two stands dedicated to the restoration. Furthermore, it has also enabled a smaller space where workshops related to the world of wine. During the inaugural dinner to be held during the fair also will be attended by the president of the Spanish Association of Sommelier, Juan Muñoz Ramos, who delivered a lecture. Parallel to the exhibition have been organized several tastings to be conducted in the Art and History Museum is located in the Plaça Llibertat. The Chamber has stressed the good acceptance of this initiative, at this stage, and in some cases account for 80% occupancy. Also, within the events, has been called the photo “Click to Reus Viu el Vi”, and the Central Library Xavier Amorós has organized the exhibition “Reus Viu el Vi and its literature”.
