The City Council of Salou has incorporated the website compraalou.com to the restaurants of the municipality that offer take away food. In this way, the consistory wants to help the bars and restaurants that have had to close due to the new instruction of the Generalitat, since October 15, to contain the expansion of the coronavirus in Catalonia.
On the web you can find the basic information of the establishments (telephone, address, hours, web) that offer food on request and also if they offer home delivery. The directory includes a total of 15 establishments.
With this initiative, the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, has stated that "we want to be together with the business fabric of Salou and, specifically, with the catering sector, which, although it has had to reduce its activity due to the pandemic, continue working at the bottom of the canyon ”.
CompraSalou is an initiative of the Salou City Council to support and promote Salou establishments and businesses during this coronavirus pandemic situation, and includes almost a hundred shops and services.
The restrictive measures imposed by the Generalitat have a duration of 15 days, until October 30.
