Come and enjoy all year round, with all your senses, the best dishes in Salou and its gastronomic agenda, especially in line this year with Salou's 2025 Capital of Catalan Culture.
The Gastronomic Agenda of Salou for 2025 prepared by the Tourist Board and the Salou City Council, with the Associació d'Empresaris d'Hostaleria (AEH) of Salou, is presented one more year to surprise visitors and residents under the Salou Food brand Experience. In total, 9 gastronomic proposals to surprise you and enjoy all year round, with all the senses, the gastronomy and the best dishes of Salou.
The 9 gastronomic proposals of Salou for 2025 are:
Tasta Salou: from January to June and from October to December, every Thursday, at participating restaurants. For 6 euros you can taste the chefs' creations, which vary every week, and are paired with local wines and cavas.You can consult the proposals on the social networks of Tasta Salou and Salou Food Experience. A good way to discover establishments and get closer to the gastronomy of the capital of the Costa Daurada.
Rice Days "For all tastes, rice dishes": from March 28th to April 13th. In Salou's restaurants, rice is a versatile ingredient, offering endless possibilities to surprise our palates with local products.
Sabor Salou: the weekend of May 23rd to 25th. This is one of the most established gastronomic initiatives. On Passeig Jaume I, this gastronomy, music, and culture fair allows you to sample all kinds of delicacies prepared by restaurateurs from the capital of the Costa Daurada
1194: a new event focused on medieval flavors, taking place in July in Salou's natural harbor, Plaça Francesc Germà.
GastroArt:on October 5th at the Torre Vella, art and gastronomy will merge in a new event designed to delight the senses.
Squid gastronomic days: in November. An activity with a long history where the restaurants of Salou shine with the municipality's star product: squid. The days coincide with the Squid Festival and the traditional fishing squid competition.
Salouween Street: coinciding with Tots Sants, on Paseo Jaume I. Within the framework of the Halloween celebration, this proposal has become the great festive and gastronomic revelation of Salou and the Costa Daurada.
Salou and the olive oil culture: in October-November, right at the start of the olive harvest, when the new olive oil production begins, Salou joins the gastronomic festival paying homage to the liquid gold that our land gives us each year.
Drink a vermouth in Salou: from December 5th to 21st. A different way to enjoy Christmas and one of the most typical products of the area.
The Salou 2025 gastronomic agenda has been presented at the Infinitum facilities with the presence of the mayor of Salou and president of the Tourism Board, Pere Granados; the Councilor for Economic Dynamization, Hèctor Maiquez; and the chef Pep Moreno, Michelin Star and Sol Repsol of Salou, and president of the Association of Hospitality Businessmen of Salou.
