Weekend Corpus in Tarragona
The celebration will begin on Saturday with the ringing of the bells of the Cathedral and have a peak on Sunday with the procession of Corpus expected

The city of Tarragona is prepared to live this weekend the traditional feast of Corpus Christi. The festival will kick off on Saturday, June 1 with the ringing of the bells of the Cathedral and take their point àlgit the next day, Sunday, June 2, with the expected Corpus Christi procession. along with the Santa Tecla Festival are the only processions that have been made continuously since the fourteenth century to the present. The festival will culminate with the dance of the year Negritus and Giants. In addition, throughout the day can be seen at Corpus Christi Cathedral cloisters the dancing egg, one of the most curious traditions of this celebration.
Saturday June 1
- 11.45, from the bell tower of the cathedral. The touch of Prima to the Ringers of Tarragona.
- 12 pm Cathedral. Peal of bells.
Sunday June 2
- From 9 to 13:30 and from 17 to 20 h, the source of the cloister of the Cathedral. The dancing egg.
- From 16:30 to 17 am, from the bell tower of the Cathedral. Touch of Class.
- 17 pm, the bell input papal.
- 17:45, from Fountain Square to the Cathedral. Ida procession: The magic of the drum Negritos Moors Giants, Giants Body Bou-Old Town, Grallers and drummers will go from City Hall to the cathedral, the municipal corporation escort.
