Salou. Costa Dorada. 22 September 2019. Until November 17, Halloween completely invades PortAventura World. In every corner of the park the setting of pumpkins, skulls, skeletons, cobwebs, bats, ghosts, witches, and other creatures reminds us that summer is over, that every night gets dark earlier and that darkness is the great ally of fear. With shows and menus also dedicated to Halloween, PortAventura is a paradise for Halloween enthusiasts but this 2019, in addition, fear lovers will find in PortAventura a unique place in Europe: the Cursed Island.
It is about 1 kilometer of terror passage, located on a remote Caribbean island, where the crew of a pirate ship has the mission of preventing anyone from leaving the island alive. For more than 30 minutes, more than 100 terrifying characters wait in the surprising recesses of the passage to "eat" the intrepid or unconscious who dare to enter the island.
The experience has been created by the PortAventura World show management in collaboration with effects specialists and the make-up team led by Alejandra Alcañiz, a recognized professional make-up artist who has several awards.
The Cursed Island completes the offer of passages of terror of PortAventura that also offers Maya Apocalypse, [REC] Experience and Horror in Texas, and that can be enjoyed separately or with the Halloween Passport passport for 22 euros per person, which gives access to The 4 passages mentioned.
