Fútbol Salou Sports Center together with Cambrils Park Sport Village are ready to receive, one more year, the different professional and amateur teams that have chosen them to prepare their sports seasons. This 2023, football teams from the first international divisions and professional cycling teams stand out above all. In addition, different amateur tournaments will also be held during the winter and spring months.
In January, teams such as the women's ADO Den Haag, a soccer team that plays in the first women's division in the Netherlands; and the Euskaltel Euskadi Team, a cycling team that is in the UCI Pro Team category to carry out its technical sessions.
Now, during the remainder of January and February, the arrival of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, the South Korean men's soccer team and current champion of the South Korean league, is expected. This team has 5 international players who have played in the Qatar 2023 FIFA World Cup, including Gue-sung Cho, a striker for the South Korean team who scored two goals during the World Cup with his team. They will also visit the facilities on Auckland City FC, the New Zealand men's soccer team and reigning OFC Champions League champions; Shamrock Rovers FC, the Irish men's professional soccer team and reigning Irish Premier League champions; Liv Racing Teq Find, women's UCI cycling team; Crabbe Toitures CC Chevigny, the Belgian UCI Continental cycling team; o Wahoo Le Col GB Ladies Team, UK women's cycling team of the UCI women's continental team category.
The soccer teams will train at the Fútbol Salou Sports Center, first-class professional training facilities with natural and artificial grass pitches where they can train and prepare future sports strategies. On the other hand, the cycling teams will be able to enjoy the surroundings of the Costa Daurada, which has roads with different routes and slopes, good weather and magnificent views with the Mediterranean in the background.
At the end of training, athletes from different disciplines live together at Cambrils Park Sport Village, a Resort that from September and May has all the features and services specially designed for their needs. There they will be able to rest, recover strength and complete their sports routine.
On the other hand, during the sports season different tournaments will be held at the Salou Football facilities, such as the Costa Daurada Cup, the Mare Nostrum Cup or the Football Cup Barcelona, which will welcome both the teams and their companions.
Fútbol Salou and Cambrils Park leave behind the two years of the pandemic and celebrate the activity scheduled for 2023. In this way, they hope to continue contributing to the deseasonalisation of the season on the Costa Daurada, an area where the good climate, mild temperatures and its Wide range of leisure and culture, together with good facilities, make it a benchmark sports destination.
