Ogier / Ingrassia (VW) win the world title RallyRACC

French Sébastien Ogier / Julien Ingrassia (Volkswagen Polo R WRC) have won 52 RallyRACC in Salou, which has made them mathematically in world rally champions for the fourth consecutive year. The second place on the podium in Salou have been to Dani Sordo / Marc Marti (Hyundai i20 WRC) and the third for Thierry Neuville / Nicolas Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 WRC).
This year the 52 RallyRACC has again become a spectacular competition, with thousands of fans witnessing each and every one of the 19 disputed sections.
This victory of Sébastien Ogier / Julien Ingrassia (Volkswagen) on the RACC for the third time, after those achieved in 2013 and 2014, is an excellent coda to his fourth title of pilots and co-pilots, respectively, and is also the triumph 300th Michelin the World Rally Championship (WRC). Ogier matches and titles of World Champion Finns Juha Kankkunen and Tommi Mäkinen, also with four each.
Volkswagen Polo R's have flanked on the podium two Hyundai, those of Dani Sordo / Marc Marti and Thierry Neuville / Nicolas Gilsoul. The Korean brand has also placed Hayden Paddon / Jonh Kennard in the fourth.
In WRC2 the victory went to Jan Kopecký / Pavel Dresler (Skoda), while the win WRC3 have pointed Fabio Andolfi / Manuel Phenol (Peugeot 208 R2).
