Within the framework of the Salou Economic Reactivation Plan created as a result of the crisis by COVID19, the Economic Dynamization area of the City Council has promoted a new set of online training programs for the Program to Help Digital and Technological Transformation.
They are free sessions, open to Salou entrepreneurs and workers from the Salou commerce, services and hospitality sectors. The courses take place between May 9 and 21.
The purpose of these trainings is that the assistants obtain basic knowledge and skills in the use of new technologies, online marketing and sales, E-commerce, Netiquette, communication strategies, websites, social networks and ICT skills, among other issues. It also helps them maintain customer ties and gives them guidelines for reorienting businesses and improving competitiveness.
The courses for this month of May are:
- How to take advantage of WhatsApp Business? - May 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- How to sell effectively with Instant Messaging? - May 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- How to sell effectively with social networks? - May 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Mobile applications that can be useful for our business - May 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- How to sell online in our store - May 21, from 3 to 4.30 p.m.
Once the registration has been made, the Economic Dynamization area of Salou will contact the interested person to confirm the request.
The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, has highlighted "the good attitude of the business community in Salou, which has always been proactive in acquiring new knowledge and entering the online world and new technologies."
For his part, the councilor for Economic Dynamization of Salou, Héctor Maiquez, has said that "from the area, we have decided to make this new training block, since many businessmen and businesswomen from the municipality have applied to join the waiting list for future sessions". For this reason, "we have considered it necessary to make new ones, so that everyone who wants to train can do so".
