The RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada is here
Salou. Costa Dorada. 25 September 2024. On October 18 and 19, 2024, Salou and the Costa Daurada will host the 59th edition of the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada, the penultimate round that counts towards the Spanish Super Rally Championship (S-CER), and in which participants compete for 12 championships, trophies or cups. The total route will be 100 km, with 4 timed sections that will be repeated twice and two rounds in Salou.
In this edition, the tests of the RallyRacc Catalunya-Costa Daurada will be the following:
Friday, October 18, 2024:
- Testing and qualification section (Shakedown) in the Emprius area of Salou from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (priority drivers), at 3:15 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (rest of registered teams).
- 19 h Start of the 1st test, on the Jaume I promenade in Salou. This is the first special of the RallyRACC of 1.55 km on asphalt but which the cars do with gravel tires.
Saturday 19 October 2024:
- 7:15 a.m. Start for a loop of three different gravel stages
- 12:37 p.m. The Salou urban special stage will be repeated
- 12:22 p.m. 15-minute regrouping at Port Esportiu in Salou
- 12:50 p.m. 30-minute service at PortAventura World
- 4:35 p.m. 25-minute neutralisation at Bot, and start of the second passes through the morning's gravel stages. Finish at the Jaume I promenade in Salou at 7 p.m.
- 8:30 p.m. Trophy presentation on the podium of the Jaume I promenade in Salou
In addition to the only service mentioned in the middle of the day, two stops are planned for refuelling in Gandesa.
This 59th RallyRACC has the collaboration of Salou City Council and the Tourism Board of the Tarragona Provincial Council, as well as PortAventura World, where the service park is located, and the General Secretariat of Sports of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
