The centre of art of the Torre Vella shows the abstract art of the Barcelonan Neus Roig

The centre of art of the Torre Vella receives since this Thursday 17 of October a new sample of a Catalan artist; in this case the Barcelonan Neus Roig, who proposes by means of her painting a world of outbreaks of colours and of abstract contrasts. Josep Mª Cadena, journalist and critical of Art, signals on the work of the artist: “The impression obtained that I have is that as a person she achieves to take out of the joys and of the penalties that gives the life, a balanced sense of the beauty as a group of internal facts that last”.

Neus Roig followed upper studies to the school EINA; besides, it counts with a postgraduate of drawingfrom  the faculty of fine arts of the University of Barcelona, complemented with other studies of colours and volumes and of drawing, and so on. The Barcelonan artist brings to Salou a group of abstract works of big format that can be visited until the 9 of November to the centre of art of theTorre Vella. The schedule of visit of the exhibition will be of Monday to Saturday of 18 to 21 hours.

The exhibitions of art are the main activity to which devotes at present the Torre Vella of Salou, although also receive the Museum of the Contemporary Enamel, which has of a bottom of enamels of the 20th century, of authors of all over of the world. The sculpture of the garden, The Danza de las Gracias, was realised by the artist Artur Aldomà Puig and commemora the proclamació of Salou as a City Pubilla of the Sardana, in 1990.
