Hard Rock will make the new tourist center of Salou and Vila-seca

The company Hard Rock International will be in charge of constructing the new Recreational and Tourist Center (CRT) between Salou and Vila-seca known as Hard Rock Entertainment World, to build hotels, a casino and a shopping center next to PortAventura World and Ferrari Land. This project will create 2,100 direct jobs.

The BCN World project for Salou, Vila-seca and the Costa Dorada begins this 2017, with the forecast that in the summer begin the public urbanization works. The tourist complex that will be built next to PortAventura World is expected to generate 12,000 jobs during its construction and represents 0.7 percent of GDP.

Investindustrial, the owner of PortAventura , will manage half the hotel rooms under BCN World , following the alliance that has come with the group Veremonte , manager of the macrocomplex . With its entry into the project , leading the tourism offer to the family , PortAventura joins the three known investors . BCN World´s President , Xavier Adserà , says work on the project will begin during the first half of 2014 .

Barcelona World begins to take shape this fall
